It had been a while since I had spent some time at the Belgian coast. Around New Year I spent a couple of days in Bredene, with some walks along the coast line up to Ostend Oosteroever. Here are a few impressions with my new FujiFilm X100T.
Sometimes, a photo doesn’t need words. 30 Second exposure from a warm sunset on the isle of Texel….
Another photo taken on the beautiful North Sea beaches of Texel. Taken with the LEE Big Stopper to achieve a 150 second exposure to flatten the sea and create a dramatic movement in the sky. Most nature photographers will kill me for this, but I edited the photo in Lightroom with VSCO film emulation software: I applied an Ilford HP5 preset and converted the B&W back into a color image.
Veulettes-sur-Mer. An oldie from the archives. Taken on a grey day at the Normandy coast in August 2008.
