After working on classic seascapes, long exposures and intentional camera movement images, I’ve been trying to find some new angles for my seascape photography. Of course, in these days everything has already been photographed. But you still need some challenges to keep going on.
I’ve been strolling around on internet for inspiration and I got attracted to wave art photography. Took a first try at it at one of my favorite beach spots on Texel (NL). Didn’t get the result I really wanted, but the light was fine and I turned two images into 80x60cm black and white Xpozer prints. I put them up during the yearly photo exhibition of the local photo club and got some nice reactions from the visitors. That’s enough of a motivation to keep going on, looking for better shots.
